• Steel jaws are totally encased in super-polyamid - Provides for the ultimate in strength and stability while offering a non-marring, glue-resistant surface.
• Over-sized acme thread - For positive grip with minimum turns.
• Ergonomically designed wood handle - For a comfortable grip. Can be hand tightened to 1,000 lbs. clamping pressure.
• Cold drawn, profiled steel rail - Made in Bessey's own mill for total control on quality. Unique profile engineered for extra strenght to minimize flexing or bending, common with flat rails found on most ordinary bar clamps. Galvanized to prevent stains on wood and won't rust.
• Locking system won't let go - Features dual set screws that are permanently molded into the sliding arm. Interlocks with serration on both sides of the rial for non-slip grip.
• Large, parallel jaws - Distribute even pressure across the entire surface to stop bowing, turning and lifting of work. This Bessey design guarantees the jaws are always at a 90º angle to the rail.
